According to the Wall Street Journal story, "Despite the continuous COVID lockdowns and slow economic growth rate, the Chinese president Xi Jinping is desperately trying to beat the USA in economic growth rate and GDP values in the year 2022. "

Mr. Xi Jinping told senior economic and financial officials during meetings, "They must ensure that the country's economy is stable and growing because it is more important to show the USA that China's one-party system is superior when compared to Western liberal democracy." Furthermore, the current rate of decline in the United States of America is slowing, both politically and economically.

In regards to Mr. Xi’s call for quick growth in the country, the Chinese government agencies are planning to speed up the big construction projects, especially in the fields of manufacturing, technology, energy, and food. As well, the Chinese authorities are planning to give individual coupons in order to activate consumer spending.
